Freeman Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask Review
I want my skin to be clear and moisturized, for which facial masks are very helpful. I have tried many different ones and would like to share my opinion about the Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask from Freeman. The manufacturer claims that this mask clears clogged pores and smooths your skin.
There are 6 ounces of the product, and it is made in the USA.
It has a nice smell of lavender and bergamot. It is quite thick—somewhat similar to sour cream. The color is bright blue, but with time it fades, becoming uneven.
Kaolin is the main component of the mask. It absorbs skin oil and helps to eliminate blackheads. The mask also contains sea salt and vitamin E. Bergamot and lavender oils are among other ingredients. I did not like that it has the colorant Blue 1 because it may irritate sensitive skin.
You can store the mask for 24 months after the day of opening, which means that it has some preservatives.
I have combination skin and use the mask 2-3 times a week. I put it on my face, then I put plastic wrap on the top, which prevents the mask from drying. It is important to do so because if your mask dries out, it will dry your skin. I leave the mask on for about 15 minutes and then rinse with warm water. It is easy to rinse it.
After using it, I can see that this Dead Sea Minerals mask clears and reduces the size of my pores. It also moisturizes the skin. Unfortunately, the effect from the mask is not long lasting—approximately one day.
I would give the mask 9 out of 10 because it has a good, but not long lasting, effect on my skin. I honestly think that for this price (just $4.25) the mask does a good job. I have used some expensive kaolin masks that gave me the same results. So why would I pay more? Clay is not supposed to be pricey.
Freeman has many different facial masks, and I would like to try some of them as well.
