Colourpop Pressed Powder Shadow Come and Get It and Dreamboat Review
My review is about Pressed Powder Shadow from Colourpop in Come and Get It and Dreamboat shades. I love eyeshadows, and those two colors were an amazing addition to my collection. My review has swatches and looks with the eyeshadows.
I got my shadows in refills, and they cost $4 each. They do not have magnets, so you need to have a magnetic palette if you want to keep them in some case. I just keep mine in their original plastic cases.
There is 1.5 grams of the eyeshadows, and they are made in the U.S.
I also have a review about Mac All that Glitters and Naked Lunch eyeshadows, which I love.
Come and Get it Review
Colourpop Come and Get It is a mettalic duochrome eyeshadow. It has a bright pink base with a gold shimmer. The color is warm and beautiful. It has very good pigmentation even without a primer. If you apply it with a dry brush, then it will be dusty. So I always use a wet brush, and it helps to eliminate any fall out.
The swatch was made on a sunny day by the window.
I have normal eyelids, and after several hours of wear the shadow looks perfect without any creasing or fading; however, I see several sparkles underneath my eyes. Again, a primer will be handy and helpful in this situation.
I really like to pair Come and Get It with brown eyeshadow. For this makeup, I used Mac Soft Brown in the crease and Mac Embark in the outer corner.
9/10 because of some fallout during the day.
Dreamboat from Colourpop is a matte eyeshadow. It is dusty pink with a warm undertone. The shadow is a bit dusty and well pigmented. It is difficult to wash my brush after using Dreamboat.
The downside of the eyeshadow is that it fades throughout the day and does not look bright. So a primer is a must.
I like Dreamboat because it is universal. I use this shade on the crease and on the eyelid depending on my makeup.
For my look, I used Urban Decay Naked2 and Mac Haux on the crease and Mac Deep Damson on the outer corner.
7/10 because the color fades, sadly.
